Captain
A sailing lifetime.
Ramiro Sueiro has his whole life near the sea. From a very young age, he sailed on board the ANACEL, a wooden motorboat of 16 meters in length that belonged to his grandparents, from whom he inherited the passion for the Mediterranean Sea.
After graduating in Geography from the University of the Balearic Islands, at the age of 29 he embarked on one of the most important journeys of his life, crossing the Atlantic for 4 months, from Brazil to Mallorca on a small sailing ship named DORIA. Since 2014 Ramiro is the captain of the KALORI, a Beneteau First 345 sailboat. He has all the licenses and professional titles for recreational boats and lives dedicated to sharing his passion for the sea.
The Boat
Beneteau First 345.
The sailboat, named KALORI, is 10.5 meters long and can reach a maximum speed of 7 knots with a cruising speed of 5 knots. It has a maximum capacity of 8 people plus the captain and has an awning in the area of the bathtub, outdoor table to eat if you prepare a picnic and a swim platform from where you can jump into the sea and return easily. Apart from the deck area, the ship has 3 cabins, bathroom, lounge and kitchen in the inside area, but without doubt one of the favorite spots of the ship is its bow platform, a place where you can feel the king of the world.
