Sail south from Port de Sóller and discover two hidden gems of the Tramuntana coast: the picturesque Cala Deya and the iconic Sa Foradada with its pierced rock.
Our south route departs from Port de Sóller heading southwest, following the coastline of the Serra de Tramuntana. The journey takes you past a succession of cliffs, hidden coves and picture-postcard coastal villages: Llucalcari, Cala Deya and finally the spectacular Sa Foradada. It is the perfect route for those looking to combine sailing, snorkelling and the most breathtaking sunset in Mallorca.
The first stop after setting sail is the coast of Llucalcari, a small coastal hamlet with a pebble cove and transparent waters. We continue to Es Canyaret, a tiny hidden beach accessible only by sea or by a mountain trail. Ideal for a first swim in calm waters.
About 20 minutes sailing from Sóller, Cala Deya is a rocky pebble cove framed by cliffs covered in pines and scrubland. A stream flows into the sea forming a crescent of crystal-clear water, perfect for snorkelling. The cove retains the charm of the village of Deya, one of Mallorca's most beautiful, where artists and writers from around the world have lived.
The most iconic point of the route: Sa Foradada, meaning 'the pierced one'. A rocky peninsula that juts about 400 metres into the sea with a natural hole right through it. This magical place, located beneath the estate of Son Marroig of Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Austria, offers spectacular crystal-clear waters for anchoring and swimming.
The afternoon excursion to Sa Foradada culminates with one of the most spectacular sunsets in the Mediterranean. Watching the sun sink below the horizon from the sailboat, with Sa Foradada silhouetted and the colours of dusk reflected on the water, is an experience our guests describe as unforgettable.

While tour boats carry large groups with timed stops, with Let's Sail you sail on your own private sailboat. You decide how long to spend at each cove, where to anchor, and at what pace to enjoy the coast. The Kalori, our 10.5-metre Beneteau First 345, features an awning, outdoor dining area and swimming platform.
The route to Cala Deya and Sa Foradada is available as a half-day trip or sunset sailing. We sail from April to October from the marina at Port de Sóller.
